Congratulations to Alejandro Negrón Calderón, Washburn School Class of 2025 in Ponce, for his outstanding performance on both College Board exams!
- Perfect score on the English section of the PAA (maximum score—zero wrong answers)
- 99th percentile on the SAT
Alejandro has been part of the Washburn community since third grade, and through dedication and perseverance, he has reached his full potential. This is not the first time a Washburn student has achieved a perfect score on the PAA in English or Math, and we know it won’t be the last!
Alejandro is not alone—many students in the Class of 2025 also achieved near-perfect scores in various sections and placed above the 95th percentile on the SAT, demonstrating the strength and dedication of this graduating class.
NOTE: The SAT is the college admission exam in English, widely used by universities across the United States and also accepted in Puerto Rico. The PAA (Prueba de Aptitud Académica) is the admission test used in Puerto Rico and Latin America, designed for Spanish-speaking students pursuing higher education.
