Biography
Mrs. Batista was born in Ponce, P. R. She realized her calling was teaching when she was a little girl while she taught her little brother on Saturdays. She graduated from the PUCPR in Ponce, obtaining her bachelor’s degree. She’s been teaching since 2020 at a private school in Ponce. She plans to continue studying to expand her knowledge. She loves children, watching children feel the joy of learning and learning about new teaching techniques. She enjoys writing, watching series, and road trips in her free time. She sure is very excited to work at Washburn School as a second-grade teacher for this academic year 2022-2023.
