Bio
My name is Frances O. Pérez Carpio, and I will be your child's First Grade Teacher this year. My previous experience as an educator has been with higher grade levels, specifically 7th-12th grade students, but I am excited to embark on this journey with the amazing, creative, and energetic children that make up Washburn's First Grade Class. I hold a bachelor's degree in liberal arts with a sub-concentration in education, and I am currently completing my master's degree in education with a focus on children with severe disabilities. I love working on my land and have a farm with a variety of fruits, two pigs, a sheep, and two dogs. I am eagerly looking forward to meeting you all! It’s going to be a wonderful year!
