Bio

Ms. Rivera was born in New York and spent her school years in Pennsylvania. During her academic journey, she studied at the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Later, she pursued a career in education, becoming certified as an English teacher for both elementary and secondary levels. Her love for children and language inspired her to teach at Washburn School, where she is dedicated to fostering both academic and personal growth in her students. She believes that children should be equipped with the tools they need to become productive adults.

La Sra. Rivera nació en Nueva York y pasó sus años escolares en Pensilvania. Durante su trayectoria académica, estudió en la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Puerto Rico, donde obtuvo un Bachillerato en Artes en Inglés. Más tarde, decidió seguir una carrera en la educación, obteniendo la certificación como maestra de inglés en los niveles elemental y secundario. Su amor por los niños y el lenguaje la inspiró a enseñar en Washburn School, donde se dedica a fomentar tanto el crecimiento académico como personal de sus estudiantes. Ella cree que los niños deben recibir las herramientas necesarias para convertirse en adultos productivos.
