Mrs. Flor Rodriguez Bio
My name is Flor I. Rodríguez González. I’m from Villalba. I am a retired teacher from the Puerto Rico Department of Education. In 1984, I completed a bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy with a concentration in Secondary Education in Spanish from the UPR of Cayey. In addition, in 2006 I participated in a proposal at the PUCPR, where I was able to approve master’s credits in Hispanic Studies. After working for 31 years in public schools in my town, I decided to gain experience in a private school. I love to read, and I am passionate about poetry. Thus, I have created the literary poetic club with the purpose of transmitting the love of poetry to my students. I am currently retired and continue to help Washburn in a substitute teacher role after 5 years of teaching Spanish in High School at WS.
